Mutombo Coffee : Virginia Lo puts Hong Kong Marathon women’s 10k win down to coffee

It was an early start for the 10km runners at the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon and women’s 10km winner Virginia Lo Ying-chiu put her victory down to a cup of coffee.

“I have started practising for the race since July, and I drank coffee before the start to refresh myself, hoping to achieve good results,” she said.

“On race day, we drink coffee,” Lo had posted on an Instagram story as she prepared for the race, which saw her set a new personal best.
